DRESS: Topshop
SHOES: Primark (available now)
...Especially at Christmas time, right? This past week my social calendar has been packed thanks to an abundance of work Christmas parties. So I did what any girl would do - I had my nails painted all festive-like and delved into my wardrobe to find the sparkliest dresses possible. And mission accomplished too I reckon.
DRESS: Topshop
And the winner of the sparkliest dress ever award goes to..? I LOVE this dress, it appeals to my inner magpie and is the perfect shape for my figure (I love a waist hugger!) Can I wear all-over sequins forever please?
I like to experiment with my hair, and curled it using a super-thin wand from Lee Stafford. These pictures were taken before I cut and dyed it, so I added some hair chalks from Urban Outfitters because basically, I now feel a little naked if my hair isn't colourful. I loved the result and as soon as my pink has faded slightly I'm going to try the blues.
DRESS: Topshop (this is becoming something of a pattern, yes?)
Shoes: Vivienne Westwood for Melissa
BAG: Lulu Guinness
HOW AMAZING is this flowerpot bag?! I bought it around this time last year from a Lulu Guinness outlet store in Cheshire, and it's been an absolute beaut. I'm guaranteed to get numerous comments along the lines of: "Oh my gosh is that a bag?! How cuuute!" Paired with my fave dress ever (I just love the baroque pattern and off-the-shoulder detail) I was most certainly ready to cut some shapes.
So I've come to the conclusion that Christmas party outfit choosing isn't always about wearing winter colours or this season's trends - as long as you feel amazing in your outfit, it doesn't matter. But, if you just happen to rock some sparkles at the same time, well then, that's ok too...
